Anokhi (meaning unique in Hindi) entered our world on July 24, 2009 at 8:10 p.m., weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 20 inches in length. This blog is an attempt to document the milestones, celebrations, events, and happenings in her life so that she may, someday, look back and be able to enjoy memories from days gone by. I hope she enjoys reading the blogs as much as I enjoy writing them. And if I am not here to tell you myself munchkin, I hope that my words will help you see just how much both daddy and I love you. You are the best thing that has happened to us and you light up our lives each and every day. We love you more than words can ever describe, munchkin!

You have given me a gift such as I never even dreamt of finding in this life.

Hi Keenjal,
Read your blog and I really enjoyed all your insight into this special time in your family’s life.
You’ve inspired me to start a blog of my own!!! It is such a beautiful keepsake for our children to enjoy when they are older. I’m nowhere near the talented writer you are but I figure that Maia-Jolie won’t mind :0)
Thanks,
Nadia
